This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who I am
This website is run by Øystein Bruncell Larsen, Bruncell Larsen Strategic Advisory. I am responsible for the personal data collected through it. You can contact me at oystein@bruncelllarsen.no or on +47 924 42 811.
What this site collects
- Newsletter. Your email address, only if you subscribe and tick the consent box.
- Server logs. The company that hosts this website keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, the pages requested and the time). They are used to keep the site secure and running, and are kept for a limited period.
- No analytics and no advertising. This site does not use analytics, tracking or advertising cookies.
- Fonts. The fonts are served from this website, so your browser does not contact Google or any other font service.
- Messages. If you email or phone me, I use your details only to reply to you.
Newsletter
- I send the monthly newsletter with MailerLite (UAB “MailerLite”, Lithuania, EU), which processes your email address on my behalf.
- Double opt-in: after you subscribe, you receive an email asking you to confirm. You are only added to the list once you have confirmed.
- Every newsletter has a link to unsubscribe.
- I keep your email address on the mailing list until you unsubscribe.
- This website also keeps a copy of each sign-up in its own database (your email address, your consent, the time and the page you signed up on). I use it as a record of your consent and to fix sign-up problems, and I delete it after 12 months.
- The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time by unsubscribing or by writing to me.
Your rights
You have the right to see the personal data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how I use it. To use any of these rights, write to me at oystein@bruncelllarsen.no.
If you think I have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to Datatilsynet, the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (datatilsynet.no).
Changes to this policy
I will update this page if anything changes, for example if I add a new service to the website. Last updated: 9 October 2026.
